Scheduled: Day Shift This is an 8 hour shift between 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Could be 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, or 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM. Saturdays are 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM, closed Sundays. Need a commitment of a minimum of 2 Saturdays per month from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. GENERAL SUMMARY: Provide distributive pharmacy services and technical support for the Pharmacist prior to receiving certification. Refill and maintain automated dispensing systems. Prepare orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department. Prepare sterile and non-sterile compounds. Repackage bulk medications. Receive and store incoming supplies. Triage incoming calls and serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing information. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: One or more of the following required: Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy Intern credentialed from the Michigan Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) preferred. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
