Coastal Harbor Health System is comprised of a 114-bed hospital for children and adolescents, providing both short- and long-term inpatient care, and a 50 bed inpatient hospital serving men and women, ages 18 and up. We offer compassionate patient care to those who need it the most, serving not only local patients, but also those located across the country. Coastal Harbor Treatment Center is currently looking for a Fulltime Special Education Teacher:

GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB: Plan curriculum, classroom schedule, and prepare lessons/plans and other instructional materials to meet individual need of students, considering state and school requirements, physical, emotional, and education levels of development by performing the following duties.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. An individual must be able to perform their duties in a positive work mode and serve as a positive role model and influence for youth and peers. Qualifications

Requirements:

Education: Minimum Bachelors degree in Education Licensure/Certification: Current Georgia teaching license in Special Education with ED endorsement or Special Education Conditional License with plans to fulfill the requirements to obtain a Special Education Professional License

Experience: At least three years of experience in a classroom situation is preferred. Elementary School Certification preferred.
