Make your mark. The senior copywriter is responsible for content and copywriting assignments spanning a range of marketing channels including advertising and digital media, thought leadership, web content, and promotional and sales content. The senior copywriter advances campaign content strategy and marketing content planning tactics to drive brand messaging and messaging platforms, support firm growth goals, and foster strong brand recognition and audience engagement. The senior copywriter reports to the managing editor.

Your role.
Your work will include, but not be limited to:

  • Concepts, writes, edits, and/or reviews all content aligned with agreed-upon planning and strategy
  • Leads content and creative copywriting execution for integrated campaigns
  • Works with creative and marketing strategists to develop campaign theme including copy direction; communicates and presents theme and samples to strategists and stakeholders
  • Advises on content strategy; makes recommendations for most suitable and strategic content tactic based on marketing goals
  • Contributes to established best practices for written content; collaborates with marketing team to socialize and reinforce best practices
  • Collaborates with subject matter experts to inform and direct development of staff-authored content; leads interview calls with subject matter experts
  • Makes recommendations for optimizing and enhancing content
  • Contributes to overall content governance policies/practices
  • Advances agreed-upon campaign/marketing plan content strategy

The qualifications.

* Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or related degree

* Requires 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing, communications, advertising, and content marketing

* Advertising and/or creative copywriting experience including ideation and concepting. Please provide portfolio

* Marketing/creative agency experience is a plus

* Professional services firm experience is a plus

* Exceptional ability to write and edit with strong critical thinking skills

* Strong attention to detail relating to accuracy, consistency, grammar, and spelling

* Exceptional written and oral communication skills

* Strong presentation skills and executive presence

Salary
We are pleased to offer eligible staff a robust benefits package. Eligibility and contribution requirements for some of these benefits vary based on the number of hours staff work per week. Highlights include health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance. These standard offerings are effective on the first of the month following your start date. In addition to this, eligible staff are able to take advantage of our Flexible Time Off and various pre-determined holidays as well as a 401(k) plan, flexible benefits plans, business-related travel expense, lodging and meal reimbursement for business-related use. A Pension plan is also available for eligible administrative and paraprofessional staff. A discretionary bonus plan is available for eligible staff. Plante Moran also offers Interns and Contractors the option to elect health insurance under our contingent staff medical plan as of the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment in addition to limited paid time sick time. Seasonal staff are not eligible for benefits.

Compensation is commensurate with technical skills and experience is provided in accordance with applicable state requirement. Compensation information posted is based on a position being located in the state of CO or IL. Please review theposition location for theapplicable geographic location.

Colorado monthly base range is as follows:

$5,625.00 to $7,083.33
