STV, located in Charlotte and Morrisville, NC is looking for a Water and Wastewater Senior CAD Designer to join our team! This senior-level position performs a variety of tasks which are intended to provide experience and interaction with other staff, methods, practices, programs and the culture of the organization.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Prepares, or assists in the preparation of water and wastewater or general civil engineering documents, details, schedules or reports as assigned.
  • Proven knowledge and proficiency in water and wastewater pipelines and DOT wet utility relocation plans.
  • Proven knowledge and proficiency in firm's drafting standards, CADD software.
  • Proven knowledge and proficiency in the use of firm's system of filing and retrieving drawings and other project information; assisting in the production of drawings, graphs, charts, exhibits and other project documents.
  • Developing knowledge and proficiency in the types of resources available (reference materials, government agencies, utility companies, in-house records, etc.).
  • Developing knowledge and proficiency in the use of CADD equipment and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Technical School preferred and High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Familiarity with CADD programs such as MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer, Civil 3D AutoCAD and third-party software packages.
  • 15+ years preferred; 10 Years required.

Compensation Range:

$60,140.00 - $80,187.00
