STV currently has openings for a Civil Roadway Design Specialist in the Transportation group in Hartford, CT.

STV is actively seeking a Civil/Roadway Engineering Specialist with 0 to 3 years of experience to join our dynamic Transportation Group. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of roadway, highway, and transit projects, contributing to innovative infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in creating detailed construction drawings, plans, and specifications for roadway and transportation projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

  • Contribute to the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and client communications, ensuring the clear and effective delivery of project information.

  • Collaborate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

  • Experience with MicroStation and/or OpenRoads Designer.

  • Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Additional positive attributes include:

  • EIT/FE certification or progress towards obtaining a PE License.

  • Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar civil design software.

  • Knowledge of infrastructure design and construction processes.

Compensation Range:

$58,422.14 - $77,896.19
