POSITION

We are seeking a high-energy and motivated event professional eager to make an impact on the industry through the execution of 'elevated' events and experiences. This role will reside within our Strategic Events & Sponsorships Team which is part of our Marketing & Communications Department.

The Event Marketing Manager will be responsible for comprehensive management and execution of various events, industry conferences and brand activations to support business growth. The role will support how we go to market at both the master brand level and at the line of business level across institutional, liquidity, wealth and international channels and client segments. In addition, this role will help to support board meetings, select internal events and additional ad-hoc promotion opportunities.

The scope of this role will span across virtual, hybrid and in-person formats as well as potentially new platforms and interaction options. The Event Marketing Manager will help expand our reach to new audiences including prospective clients, centers of influence, strategic relationships and broader business community promotion.

We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 3 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Manage planning and execution of multiple in-person, virtual and hybrid events, conferences and tradeshows.
  • Create event agendas and define attendee experience across all formats.
  • Coordinate venue selection and logistics - including food & beverage, transportation, accommodations, outside activities, and decor - to create world-class event environments.
  • Oversee numerous third-party vendors, such as DMC's, hotels, caterers, virtual event companies, printers, and speakers' bureaus, to ensure seamless collaboration and successful event outcomes.
  • Manage programming and production, including A/V, broadcast, and streaming capabilities, to deliver engaging and impactful event content.
  • Work closely with Creative Services Team on event collateral such as signage, promotional materials, messaging and branding, and presentation materials.
  • Utilize event management tool to register and track meetings and events, manage registration and event spend. This person will also be responsible for the build of event applications.
  • Manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and reconcile invoices to ensure efficient financial management of events.
  • Conduct thorough post-event analysis, including analyzing metrics and survey results, to evaluate the success of events and determine areas for improvement.


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree with at least 5-7 years in marketing and events management, preferably in financial services.
  • Strong event management skills with demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement, and ability to execute projects in a timely manner.
  • Excellent negotiation, project management, and time management skills to ensure successful event outcomes.
  • Budget oversight skills, including the creation, management, analysis, and reconciliation of event budgets.
  • Proficiency in event management platforms to effectively manage event logistics and registrations.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in managing event vendors and partners, service providers and venues, and cultivating industry relationships.
  • Passion for event delivery and creating engaging experiences; must take an interest in keeping up with industry trends.
  • Additional responsibilities and ad-hoc support beyond or in addition to the above may also be needed based on shifting strategic business priorities.
