Description

Primary Duties

This role involves owning and executing strategies around various key areas, including KOL (Key Opinion Leader) management, clinical value messaging development, advisory boards and peer-to-peer program development, while building strong relationships with medical societies and clinical guideline groups. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of the healthcare industry, medical marketing, and have a proven ability to collaborate effectively with medical and clinical affairs and market access teams.

  1. Create and execute strategies, programs and KPI's to support KOL, CVM, AD Board, Peer to Peer, Speaker Programs and other innovative programs to drive clinical leadership within key market segments, revenue and achievement of ClinOps ambitions.
  2. Collaboration with Medical and Clinical Affairs: Work closely with the medical and clinical affairs team to align marketing strategies with clinical data, medical education initiatives, and compliant communication.
  3. Market Access Collaboration: Collaborate with market access teams to ensure market shaping strategies are aligned with payer and reimbursement considerations to optimize product access and uptake.
  4. KOL Management: Identify, engage, and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders in the industry. Collaborate with KOLs to develop strategic partnerships and incorporate their insights into marketing strategies.
  5. Clinical Value Messaging: Oversee the development of compelling and evidence-based clinical value messaging to effectively communicate the benefits and differentiators of our products/services to healthcare professionals, key decision-makers, and customers.
  6. Ad Boards: Plan and execute advisory board meetings to gain valuable insights from experts, shaping marketing strategies, and enhancing product positioning.
  7. Peer-to-Peer Programs: Design and implement peer-to-peer programs that enable healthcare professionals to share knowledge, experiences, and best practices with their peers, fostering brand advocacy and loyalty.
  8. Speaker Programs: Create and manage speaker programs that showcase our products/services, leveraging influential speakers to drive awareness and engagement.
  9. Relationships with Societies and Guideline Groups: Cultivate strong relationships with medical societies, guideline groups, and other relevant healthcare organizations to promote collaboration and endorsement of our products/services.

Training & Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in clinical marketing within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical device industry, with a focus on market shaping and development.
  • 3+ years of experience working with KOL's

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  1. Proven track record in KOL management, clinical value messaging, ad boards, peer-to-peer programs, and speaker programs.
  2. Strong understanding of the healthcare industry, medical marketing trends, and compliance considerations.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing stakeholders at various levels.
  4. Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with medical, clinical affairs and market access teams.
  5. Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive strategic decisions. 6. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to remain in stationary position, often standing, for prolonged periods

Travel

Domestic Travel Required 15-20%
