Job Description

Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference and contribute to the success of students? This position may be for you!
Career Services is passionate about the students and alumni we serve, and we train our Peer Resume Reviewers (PRRs) to be strong contributors to the work we do. PRRs are key to the success of our resume review service, connecting with hundreds of students each semester.
Primary Responsibilities
In this role you will have the chance to:

  • Impact lives by helping students improve their resumes and cover letters, leading them to successfully secure co-ops, internships, and other positions
  • Enhance your communication skills by providing constructive feedback to peers via email, Zoom, and in person, so they can improve their written documents, and by providing instruction on using online resources
  • Strengthen your public speaking skills through Zoom and in-person workshop presentations about resume writing and related topics
  • Develop your own job-searching knowledge as you teach others about Career Services resources


Don't worry - we will provide extensive training on all these tasks so you are prepared to meet and exceed the expectations of the position. Qualifications
What we are looking for:
* Desire to learn and teach others
* Excellent skills in writing, spelling, and grammar
* Solid understanding of Microsoft Word
* 3.0 GPA preferred but not required
* Authorized to work in the United States
* Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check
