Moog Electrician Essential Job Functions: Actively participates and contributes to safety adherence and understanding across the organization with regards to sustaining electrical safety best practices. Repair and maintain electrical systems and related components for industrial equipment; Install power supply wiring and diagnose or troubleshoot malfunctions; Repair or replace faulty components, such as relays, switches, motors or fixtures; Electricians prepare reports of maintenance and repair activities, including modifications of schematics or blueprints; Participate in safety meetings and training activities; Follow established safety and operating procedures and practices. Moog electricians work with minimum supervision and daily duties involve reading and interpreting work orders; Technical descriptions; Safety manuals including NEC, NFPA 70e, and ANSI, reading and following electrical code, manuals, schematics, specifications and circuit prints. Electricians consult with operators, engineers, factory and manufacturing representatives or area managers on maintenance problems and projects; Coordinate with operating personnel regarding maintenance and repair activities; Adhering to all necessary safe-work permits; Install, repair and maintain motors, electrical operating equipment, switches, relays and fixtures. Inspect / maintain transformers, buss bars, circuit breakers, and wiring connections in power distribution substations; Troubleshoot electrical equipment, switchgear, controls and wiring using test equipment. Repair motor starters and controls; Test continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components using voltmeters, ohmmeters, and meggers. Benefits
Salary Range Transparency: Buffalo, NY $36.05-$43.72 HourlySalary Range Disclaimer The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
