STV is seeking a motivated Rail Assistant Project Manager to join our highly skilled Georgia Rail Team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in rail engineering design and an interest in and exposure to managing rail projects from planning through design and construction. For over 50 years, STV has been a leader in rail engineering, serving a diverse array of clients, including Class 1 railroads, short lines, commuter services, rapid transit, and industrial railroads. Our team comprises highly skilled rail professionals, many of whom have invaluable experience from their time with operating railroads. This unique expertise enables us to design and maintain active rail systems effectively, allowing us to provide tailored, innovative solutions that meet the specific needs of both freight and passenger rail clients. In this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate directly with Class 1 freight railroads and passenger systems, including Amtrak, CSX, and others both in the Atlanta area and nationwide. Responsibilities: Responsibilities include assisting the Project Manager in leading the project team, goal setting, developing policies and procedures to guide the project/program and mentor team members. In addition, the Assistant PM shall carry out duties as assigned by the Project Manager to achieve the successful completion of the project/program.
