WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Capital Manager to oversee and manage the planning, review, tracking, and reporting of capital expenditures for both planned and unplanned facilities projects. The Capital Manager will be responsible for ensuring all capital spending is effectively monitored, controlled, and aligned with the organization's strategic goals. This role involves working with a centralized software platform to produce key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide actionable insights into the capital spending process.

Roles and Responsibilities
* Assists in the develop and manage the capital expenditure budget for facilities projects, ensuring alignment with organizational priorities and goals.
* Evaluates and approves planned and unplanned capital projects, ensuring they meet the necessary criteria and standards for financial return, operational impact, and strategic alignment.
* Utilizes a centralized software platform to continuously monitor and track all capital expenditures against the budget, identifying variances and providing timely updates to stakeholders.
* Prepares and presents detailed reports on capital spending, including financial summaries, project status updates, project milestones and variance analyses.
* Develops and maintains key performance indicators (KPIs) related to capital spending, ensuring they provide meaningful insights for decision-making and continuous improvement.
* Works closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and procurement, to ensure accurate forecasting, efficient use of capital resources, and compliance with organizational policies.
* Identifies potential risks in capital projects and develop mitigation strategies to minimize financial exposure and ensure project success.
* Recommends and implements process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of capital spending and reporting.
* Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Education: Bachelor Degree
Experience: 1-3 years

Licenses and Certifications
None Required

Physical Requirements
Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
