The SRG Global Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for managing the maintenance aspects of the Morehead facility to ensure a safe work environment and the production of quality parts.

What You Will Do

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

* Responsible for supporting the facility assets across the Morehead facility.

* Responsible for communicating and coordinating contractor and vendor visits.

* Responsible for validating quotes and entering them into Procurement system.

* Supports internal system audits.

* Responsible for updating all facility preventative maintenance activities.
* Stay in compliance with all Safety requirements (Safety Awareness, LO/TO, Crane operations, 6S)
* Knowledge of data entry, Word, and Maintenance Connection.
* Ability to diagnose mechanical failures and apply a mechanical aptitude to design, develop, and/or implement a solution.

* Responsible for following all environmental policies, procedures, work instructions and requirements applicable to his or her work, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.

* Responsible for immediately reporting to management all environmental concerns related to work being carried out, as well as, all incidents, which present a hazard to people, production, or the environment.

* Other duties as assigned

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. Technical college or an Apprenticeship is preferred.

Language skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical skills: Ability to calculate simple mathematical equations. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as concentrations, percentage, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Requirements:

The employee is frequently required to stand and walk, use hands to finger dexterity, handle and feel, reach with arms and hands, and talk and hear.

The employee is sometimes required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and sit. Specific vision requirements include: close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The employee will be required to lift up to 10 - 50 lbs. consistently on a daily basis.

What Will Put You Ahead

* Troubleshooting knowledge / skills including hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical circuits

* Ability to read / understand hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical blueprints

* General mechanics, LOTO, and tooling

* Electrical, plumbing & machine maintenance experience

* Experience in PLC logic and controls

* Basic Computer skills
