Greetings West!
We are seeking a female chaperone for a multi-night competition conference held in downtown Chicago from Thursday, February 6, 2025 through Sunday, February 9, 2025. . Chaperones will be paid a rate of $20/hour for all hours on duty. Hotel stay (Hyatt Regency Chicago, 151 E Wacker Dr, Chicago, IL 60601), meals, and transportation will be covered. Chaperones will be expected to drive a van with students to and from the conference site, stay at the conference site for the duration of competition events, and would be responsible for ensuring students are in their assigned locations during the tournament. Chaperones will also have to be available to support a student and the team sponsor in case of emergency. The paid working hours will approximately be the following: Thursday, February 6, 2025-3:30 PM - 11:30 PM Friday, February 7, 2025- 9:00 AM - 11:30 PM Saturday, February 9, 2025-9:00 AM - 11:30 PM Sunday, February 10, 2025- 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM Support Staff or Para employees who have the approval of their direct supervisor to chaperone should enter a Professional Out of District day of leave for their absence. All hours worked outside their normal working day would need to be clocked to the Chaperone position.
