Senior Associate, Product Management (Data Integrations) - Business Cards & Payments

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Beyond the Card, Data Integrations team in Capital One Business Cards and Payments (BC&P). The BC&P organization is committed to fueling the courageous entrepreneurial spirit that's at the heart of America's business owners. In the Beyond the Card team within the Business Cards & Payments organization, we operate like a start-up within a bigger company. We seek to deliver cutting edge products and services that enable a customer to get even more out of their credit card program. On the Data Integrations team, we focus on finding, testing and integrating new data sources in a fast-changing technology environment, with the goal to deliver these cutting edge products and services and be a leader in the space.

In this role, you'll learn the essentials of being a product manager, and we'll invest in you to grow in four key areas:

  • You'll collaborate with tech teams to build comprehensive acceptance criteria, identifying and elevating any need for additional research to define future feature design

  • You'll breakdown business epics into features and further into user stories, driving your team towards lowest effort or Minimal Viable Product (MVP) for a valid feature test

  • You'll collaborate with designers, technologists, data scientists and subject-matter experts to build cutting edge solutions to help customers

  • Develop and champion a bold vision that drives meaningful outcomes by embracing the art of the possible

In this role, you will:

• Work in a zero to one environment, defining the roadmap and strategy for use of external bank data in business decision making and in support of our card experiences for our small business customers

• Prioritize and lead discovery in an exciting problem space, leveraging customer insights and in market performance metrics to make strategic recommendations and deliver impactful solutions

• Navigate a complex stakeholder environment to determine path forward and gain alignment on the approach

• Showcase exceptional cross-team collaboration, working across different functions, organizations, and reporting boundaries to get the job done

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or military experience

• At least 1 year of product management experience or at least 1 year of experience in product design, agile delivery, business analysis, data science, or software engineering

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering

• 1+ years translating business strategy or analysis into consumer facing digital products

• 1+ years of experience working on core product platforms powering digital experiences

• 1+ years working with cross functional teams as a product owner in an agile development process
