Responsibilities

The ADGS Custom Solutions Mechatronics Team in Santa Rosa, CA is seeking an electro-mechanical technician to support automation system production and preventative maintenance activities. This person will provide expert level support for a broad install base of mechatronics systems both at Keysight and systems deployed at Keysight customer locations.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and provide feedback on acceptance test plans
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues in automation
  • Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance on deployed systems
  • Create and maintain PM documentation
  • Assist with assembly of automated systems
  • Work with production line partners to develop NPIs into automation
  • Assist R&D Engineers with development of new systems and technologies

Qualifications

  • An Associates degree in Electro/Mechanical technology with a minimum of 5-10 years related experience
  • Demonstrate excellent problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong customer facing communication skills
  • Must have excellent mechanical assembly ability and intuition
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and electrical schematics
  • Have sound knowledge of basic mechanical/electrical/software principals
  • Familiarity with PLC based robotics and associated controls
  • Experience with pneumatics, electronic controls, and 3 phase power
  • Familiarity with LAN/RS232/Modbus control
  • Strong computer skills (MS Office, CAD, PLC, Data Collection & Analysis)
  • Be able to successfully manage and prioritize multiple projects
  • Ability to operate basic power tools such as drills, saws, and grinders
  • Familiarity with typical machine shop tools such as mills, lathes, band saws, etc. is a bonus
  • Be willing to travel occasionally, 10-20% (Domestic and Foreign job sites)
  • Must be US Person

Pay Range:

USD $68,930.00 - USD $114,880.00 Year
