Job Skills / Requirements
The fleet coordinator works closely with the Director of QA and is responsible for the overall condition and performance of the FCS fleet.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Accountable for the cleanliness and condition of the FCS fleet vehicles
  • Responsible for installation and operation of SamSara in all FCS fleet vehicles
  • Uses SamSara program to manage scheduled maintenance and accountable for ensuring vehicles make it scheduled maintenance appointments
  • Assists the Fleet manage with management of fuel cards
  • Held accountable for movement and reassignment of vehicles for maximum performance of fleet vehicles
  • Takes vehicles to car wash as scheduled and/or as needed
  • Coordinates with decal shop for drop off and pick of vehicles needing addition or removal of any required decals
  • Accountable for coordination and installation of lightbars
  • Required to perform inspections of vehicles for damage, defects, cleanliness, etc.
  • Expected to be available to drive anywhere within the state of florid, as need to manage the fleet
  • Responsible for coordination and signing of new vehicles added to the fleet
  • Oversees the return of vehicles to vendor, as needed
  • Coordinates with Field Managers at job sites to schedule and prepare for pickup or delivery, as needed

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
Skills: Excellent time management
Ability to work unsupervised
Outstanding communication skills
Ability to prioritize

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Most work is completed on the road with little office time
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Ability to organize office systems through adjusting, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, or folding for the purpose of proper records development and/or management
  • Occasionally walk around office to printers, copy and fax machines, and file room
  • Ability to sit while working at the computer
  • Ability to reach forward to answer the telephone and to use the computer
  • Ability to power grip the telephone, finger press to operate the computer keyboard, calculator, and telephone keypad, and pulp pinch to handle papers
  • Possess speaking skills and hearing ability to interact with customers on the telephone
