POSITION

Allspring is seeking an on-site Senior Atlassian Engineer to provide strategic and tactical leadership for our Atlassian suite of products. The Senior Atlassian Engineer will leverage Atlassian best practices to deliver a cohesive, effective, and consistent use of the Atlassian suite across the firm, working with peers across the Allspring Engineering & Technology function and other Enterprise stakeholders. Our goal is to create transparency into the usage of our assets and resources and enable reporting, analytics, and great management decisions.

We currently operate in a hybrid working model, whereby you will be required to work in-office 3 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Create and manage a strategic vision of the use the Atlassian suite. Present and lead tactical initiatives to achieve the strategic vision.
  • Define and document services delivered using the Atlassian suite (e.g. Incident Management tracking, project management tracking, workflow automation, etc.)
  • Define and document best practices and processes for the use of the Atlassian suite that meet the needs of Allspring and ensure they are followed.
  • Manage budgets and licensing required to meet the Atlassian suite needs of Allspring.
  • Work with cross functional teams to understand requirements and provide hands on configuration and support of the Atlassian suite including building automated workflows, creating forms, building reports, building dashboards, troubleshooting and resolving issues within the Atlassian suite, etc.
  • Manage the Atlassian suite queue. Ensure incidents are resolved and service requests filled according to SLAs.
  • Guide Atlassian suite users in the appropriate use of the Atlassian suite.
  • Develop an ecosystem in and around the Atlassian suite. Ensure the integration and inter-operability of the products within the suite. Leverage APIs and plug-ins to enable inter-operability with products outside the Atlassian suite (e.g. integration of DataDog with OpsGenie, refreshing HRIS data with the CMDB, etc).
  • Where applicable, ensure the Atlassian suite adheres to Allspring policy (e.g. ensuring all production changes are appropriately documented, tested and validated through the Change Management process). Deliver evidence of policy compliance in a timely manner.`1 Q
  • Advocate for, design and deliver new services using the Atlassian suite.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • 4+ years' experience implementing and managing across the Atlassian suite.
  • 2+ years' leading the use of Jira, Confluence and/or JSM across small to medium sized companies.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience is required.
  • Capacity to prioritize, complete, and resolve issues in a fast-paced setting.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • 2+ years' engineering experience with Jira.
  • 2+ years' engineering experience with Confluence.
  • 2+ years' engineering experience with Jira Service Management.
  • 2+ years' engineering experience with Assets.
  • 2+ years' engineering experience with OpsGenie.
  • 1+ year experience with Analytics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools.
  • Ability to support multiple internal clients.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
