Senior Test Analyst -Facets/ Claims

Location: Oakland, CA

Required Skills

Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent related work experience.

Over 7+ years of IT experience focused on QA software testing preferably in a Healthcare domain.

* Possess strong expertise in Healthcare and Facets modules. (Claims & membership)

* Possess strong knowledge in EDI 834 and IFP Line of Business.

* Have good exposer to Medicare & Medi-Cal business areas.

* Have extensive experience in the Payer domain.

* Have a proven track record of leading testing efforts in complex projects.

* Display proficiency in test automation tools and techniques.

* Demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

* Coordinate with development teams to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

* Implement Agile methodologies to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.

* Conduct thorough testing of Facets Claims and Billing modules to identify and resolve defects.

* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide feedback on testing progress.

* Ensure all testing activities are documented and comply with industry standards and best practices.

Roles and Responsibilities

* Lead the testing efforts for projects involving Facets - Claims, Membership and EDI 834 modules.

* Oversee the creation and execution of test plans test cases and test scripts.

* Provide detailed analysis and reporting of test results to stakeholders.

* Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies throughout the testing process.

* Work with different stakeholders to strategize, design and plan the execution of test cases.

* Good knowledge of backend SQL querying skills writing different complex JOINS

* Extensively involved in Defect Reporting by using "JIRA" tool & defect metrics

* Conduct root cause analysis of defects and implement corrective actions.

* Monitor and track testing progress and provide regular updates to project managers.

* Support user acceptance testing and provide assistance to end-users.

* Exhibit excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills working effectively with cross-functional teams.

* Show a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

* Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on testing best practices.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $[53,477 - $92,500] depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
