THE JOB: Enhance the guest experience at Mandalay Bay as a Slots Guest Services Representative, assisting with slot-related questions, processing payouts, and enrolling guests in the MGM Rewards Program. This role ensures compliance with Gaming Regulations while providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Accurate Jackpot Payouts: Pays slot machine jackpots and completes IRS W2G/1042-S forms with precision. Guest Enrollment & Verification: Enrolls guests in the MGM Resorts International Rewards Program, ensuring compliance with ID and age verification guidelines. Proactive Guest Service: Assists with property and slot-related questions, maintains a tidy and organized slot area, and delivers personalized guest service. Minor Slot Machine Repairs: Performs minor repairs such as clearing ticket/bill jams, addressing Bill Acceptor and ticket printer issues, and replacing ticket paper to ensure smooth operation. Welcoming & Attentive: Greets guests warmly with a smile and eye contact, ensuring a welcoming environment. Responsive Floor Monitoring: Continuously circulates assigned areas, promptly responding to slot machine service lights and guest needs. Knowledgeable & Engaged: Provides recommendations on MGM shows, restaurants, and attractions, stays informed about the casino floor layout, and assists guests in locating specific machines or denominations. Underage Gambling Awareness: Remains vigilant for guests under the legal gambling age of 21, reporting any underage individuals to a Supervisor or Security. Policy & Compliance Adherence: Complies with all departmental and company policies, including Title 31 regulations.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required. Availability: Availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. Guest Service: Friendly, approachable, and committed to providing outstanding, solution-focused service to every guest. Cash-Handling Experience: Proven ability to manage and process financial transactions accurately in high-volume environments. Hospitality Experience: Previous experience in a hospitality or casino environment preferred, demonstrating an ability to thrive in fast-paced, guest-focused settings.
