Job Details Job Description Jefferson Healths North Region is seeking a seasoned hospital operations leader to lead Einstein Montgomery Hospital. Located in Montgomery County Pennsylvania, Einstein Montgomery Hospital is a 195 bed community hospital with 22 ICU beds, 20 maternity beds, a 13 bed NICU, and a 42 bay emergency department. Patients have access to a full range of medical care and surgical interventions including cardiac services, cancer care, orthopedic services, minimally invasive and robotic surgery, and family-centered maternity care, delivered by a highly skilled medical team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer of Einstein Montgomery Hospital, the VP of Operations will serve as the primary site leader for day-to-day hospital operations along with development and execution of strategic plans for the facility.Primary ResponsibilitiesThe Vice President, Operations has 24/7 responsibility and accountability for the coordination and execution of clinical operations, including staffing, regulatory compliance, care/service delivery, and adherence to standardized operating poolicies and procedures.The VP is responsible for the implementation of divisional strategic plans, leading the execution of the annual operating plan, and assisting senior leadership with the achievement of key performance indicators for quality, safety, patient experience, employee engagement, efficiency, and financial results.The VP operates in a highly matrixed model and works closely with enterprise service line, corporate services, and physician leaders to drive standardization and best practice across Jefferson Health.Essential FunctionsIn partnership with the Chief Operating Officer, prepares and manages all fiscal responsibility, ensuring that the budget planning process correctly identifies operational needs of all departments within the hospital and that the Directors/Managers operate within the approved fiscal year budget Develops specific strategies to achieve competitive advantage. Translates broad strategies into specific objectives and action plans policies and procedures, including organizing and directing the implementation of a planning and marketing process. Aligns the organization to support strategic priorities in accordance with the hospitals mission, vision, values and strategic direction.Initiates, directs, and sustains efforts to ensure continuous change and improvement throughout the organization. Monitors results and tackles problems directly.Works collaboratively with the medical staff, nursing leadership, and clinical/financial/operational leaders to deliver cost effective, high quality clinical services and outcomes in partnership with affiliate organizations and providers that optimize the delivery of patient care. Cultivates an active network of relationships inside and outside of the organization and be a forward facing representative of the hospital facility.Education: Masters Degree requiredExperience Requirements:Minimum of five years managerial experience in business or healthcare administration to include demonstration of advanced knowledge and application of management skills, multiple clinical department operations, medical staff relations, financial management and business development.
