Job Description

Education/Training/Experience: Masteras Degree in healthcare related field and more than 10 years experience is required. Candidate must be experienced in leading projects with strong leadership skills. Must be a skilled decision-maker that works proactively in a high stress environment, have experience with change management, and excellent negotiating skills. Candidate must be energetic, self-confident, and persuasive. S/he must demonstrate a strong proven track record of managing complex projects. Strong consensus building skills needed, including the ability to promote open, direct and collegial discussions. Strong communicator with the ability to develop and deliver presentations, both orally and in writing. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Candidate must demonstrate ability to: Work with senior executives Use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information Develop institutional policies and procedures Gather data, compile information, analyze data, and prepare reports Utilize a variety of standard project management tools and techniques Supervise others with diverse backgrounds and skill sets Manage interdisciplinary teams Physical Demand Analysis: Physical Requirements: Ability to concentrate and sit at a desk for long periods of time; ability to travel around the various campus locations. Visual Requirements: Use of PC for extended periods of time Hearing Requirements: Ability to hear normal conversations and telephone communication. Working Conditions: Office setting; may require off shift hours and on-call; position requires medium-to-heavy air travel for large portions of time at various points during the project.
