Medical Receptionist - Patient Care Representative

Bi-Lingual Spanish or fluent in Sign Language

Medical front desk experience, including greeting patients, answering phone calls, and managing faxes.

Experience with Behavioral Health, Pathology and Ontology a plus

Knowledge of insurance verification

A positive attitude with a strong focus on collaboration and customer service.

Sharp problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and adapt quickly.

Front Desk Duties:

  • Answer phone calls professionally and manage faxes, emails, and other forms of correspondence.
  • Schedule appointments, manage referrals, and provide patients with accurate information regarding their care plans.
  • Assist patients with insurance verification, resolving issues related to coverage, eligibility, and co-pays.
  • Work collaboratively with behavioral health, pathology, and oncology teams as needed.
  • Ensure inclusive and empathetic communication for patients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform additional front desk tasks, such as processing payments and coordinating medical documentation.
