8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday with occasional evening and weekend hours required, as necessary.
Primary Purpose of Position
This position serves as the Systems Support Administrator - providing functional technology support related to the daily operations of CRES by managing data and the functionality of software applications and automated processes used by the office. Serves as the primary resource for both the conference management and room reservations software applications - providing maintenance of rate schedules, formulas, etc., as well as staff training (including technical support documentation), collaboration/coordination with the Office of OneIT and other third party representatives. Establishes data maintenance schedules for each software application in accordance with University policies. Manages and maintains departmental websites for both content and ease of use.
Minimum Education/Experience
Required Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.

Graduation from a four-year college or university and two years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Essential Job Duties
The Systems Support Administrator is responsible for the administration, configuration, and optimization of the unit's primary systems, including the 25Live scheduling and event management system and IRIS contracting software. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure efficient use of the systems, providing user support, and maintaining data integrity. The administrator will act as a key liaison between end-users and technical support teams, ensuring that the system meets the organization's business needs.

Essential duties include:

  • Manage the configuration and daily operations of key systems.
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements to system processes and workflows.
  • Act as a liaison between end-users and the software vendor for escalated support.
  • Provide technical support to users, addressing issues and troubleshooting problems.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data entered into the system.
  • Monitor and generate reports on system usage, scheduling efficiency, and other key metrics.

Other Work Responsibilities
Other duties include:

  • Develop and deliver training materials and sessions for end-users.
  • Create and maintain user documentation, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.
  • Maintain detailed records of system configurations, changes, and user interactions.
  • Manage and maintain departmental websites ensuring current content and ease of use.
  • Ensure website design and user interfaces are intuitive and easy to maneuver.

Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education

  • Bachelor's Degree and
  • 1-3 years experience in Business, IT, or related field.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with providing functional technology support.
  • Experience in providing technical support to end users.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to train other professional staff members.
  • Attention to detail at all times.
