MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic math skills
  • Use a calculator
  • Able to read simple blue prints
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Keep accurate and legible records
  • Able to use hand tools (open end/box end wrenches, screw driver, hammer, allen wrenches)
  • Must be able to lift 25+lbs (not repetitive

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for successfully operating any and all extruders independently with minimal support, as needed.
  • Set up extruder to maintain quality specifications
  • Operate forklift for moving material
  • Measure product before and after cure. Must be able to set up and operate lasermic and other automated measuring equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, housekeeping, and equipment repairs as needed
  • Accurate record keeping for routings, routing changes, sample runs, and production runs via personal computer and other documentation
  • Basic understanding of SPC, Rubber and Plastic technology
  • Any additional duties assigned by cell leader, supervisor, or manager
