Description

Purpose of Role
Identify and develop mutually beneficial long-term business relationships. Represent the company, products, brand at trade shows and other business events.

Key Accountabilities Include
* Ensure direct reports' individual sales and sales rep targets are achieved
* Ensure sales and marketing strategies are executed
* Drive resolution of critical matters that impact territory
* Drive positive end user and channel partner sales experience
* Maximize the effectiveness of channel partner and sales rep firm interactions
* Attract, engage, and develop team members within the department

Primary Responsibilities Include
* Design and execute sales plans for 'Resimercial'/CI segments and FSE team
* Optimize FSE design engagement with Field Sales, Rep Firms, End-Users, and Consultants and report on ongoing initiatives and projects
* Report on market insights, competitive conditions and products, and recommend and implement countermeasures
* Collaborate and deliver reporting resources for sales team using Tableau and Salesforce
* Optimize the placement plan for Yamaha and NEXO products within the U.S. and Canada (CA/NEXO in Can)
* Maintain AB2B sales eligibility and updated contracts/agreements within Oracle and /or SFDC

Qualifications
Ideal
* Experience in business development role within audio or technical products industry
* MS Office, Data Visualization Reporting Development
* Experience with CRM systems (add specific tasks; ex: custom report)
* Proficiency with Excel: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, If/Then
* Travel up to 50%; includes some nights and weekends
* No geographic requirements
* Budget management

Preferred
* 5+ years in business development role, preferably in commercial audio segment
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in the Commercial Audio and/or Consumer Audio segment
* Extensive experience and proficiency with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce
* Experience in leading technical sales team(s) and utilizing Field Sales Engineering resources in executing a go-to-market strategy
* Experience in collaborating and communicating with distributors and independent rep firms
* Experience in managing long-term projects and complex system sales
* People management
