Job Title: Talent & Organization Performance

Location(s): Washington, DC

Supports the planning and implementation of large-scale change efforts by partnering with clients in determining improved organizational strategies, business processes, organization structure, roles and responsibilities. Provides consultative services in the areas of change management, business process improvement, organizational effectiveness, training, and project management. Contributes to the development of project and communication plans to facilitate and support organizational change. Responsible for working with multiple teams to document the current procedures and processes, identify gaps to identify missing processes, and develop the final SOPs for approval. Responsible for developing workflow diagrams using Visio or comparable software application.

Essential Functions:


  • 25% Participates in the definition, implementation and continuous improvement of human capital and change management strategies and techniques based on organizational needs.
  • 20% Supports and/or leads human capital related projects or initiatives to help drive overall organizational effectiveness
  • 15% Coaches leaders, teams and large groups through organizational development and change processes.
  • 15% Facilitates the adoption of new or improved processes and/or procedures across the organization, including technology implementations, workforce/human resources transformations, and corporate policies.
  • 10% Tracks and reports project progress, performance, risk and issues to project stakeholders.
  • 5% Manages competing demands relevant to scope, schedule, risk and quality; and understands different stakeholder requirements and expectations to realize satisfactory outcomes.
  • 5% Protects organization value by keeping information confidential, cautioning others regarding potential breaches.
  • 5% Contributes to organization development and organization success by welcoming related, different, and new requests helping others accomplish job results.


Qualifications:


  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  • Education Level: Bachelor's Degree
  • Education Details: I/O Psychology, Human Resources or related field


Experience:


  • 5 years progressive workforce analysis, program design and delivery experience in a corporate environment. Experience in working with Visio and Snagit software applications to create workflow process diagrams.


In Lieu of Education


  • In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required in addition to the required work experience.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Knowledge of advanced coaching methods, leadership coaching, and conflict resolution., Proficient
  • Experience in group facilitation and training., Proficient
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, Advanced
  • Ability to overcome resistance to implement change., Advanced
  • Ability to anticipate future trends and recommend solutions and process improvement plans., Proficient
