Job Description

  • Receive, pick-up, transport, sort and store University property and assets.
  • Assist with pick-ups as needed on any of the University campuses.
  • Assist departments and customers during walk-in sales and/or auctions with property protection, sales support and loading purchases.
  • Communicate with departments to schedule pick-ups of University property to be surplused.
  • Perform related warehouse duties necessary for the successful operations of the department.
  • Assist asset management specialist with identifying, recording, and retiring capital equipment in the University inventory system, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Shift

Monday - Friday; 6:30a - 3:00p, or 7:00a - 3:30p, or 7:30a - 4:00p

Minimum Qualifications

A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of two years of related experience; forklift experience; class E license; medium physical ability - frequently lifts 50 lbs. with occasional lifting and carrying of objects up to 75 lbs.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $12.73 - $16.00 per hour
Grade: GGS 004
