The Segment Director will be responsible for leading our Electrical & Power business and driving accelerated growth and profitability across the portfolio. This role is commercially and operationally focused with full P&L ownership and oversight of new product development / marketing. This position presents a unique opportunity to leverage and improve our visibility with distributors and expand the reach to electronic distribution channels.

What You Will Do In Your Role

* Lead the Electrical & Power Solutions business segment in thinking past current constraints to drive a future of accelerated growth and profitability

* Have a passion for innovation in power & electrical technologies to fuel profitable growth

* Serve as a leader, champion, and coach for the business. Gain senior leader sponsorship, guide the product development process, and remove roadblocks

* Present new opportunities to all levels of the organization and influence others to gain buy-in and alignment

* Own the development of the business segment growth through voice of customer, product ownership, and product development

* Lead product management and interface with R&D, Quality, Finance, HR, and Operations business partners in a matrixed organization

* Work closely with the business unit's industry-focused sales team & with the Molex global sales organization to support existing customers as well as our new customer pipeline. Develop and maintain key customer relationships along with the sales team

The Experience You Will Bring

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in business, industrial engineering or similar

* At least 5 years of expertise in Industrial Automation and/or the industrial technology sector (software or hardware)

* Proven experience in industrial automation i.e. project, product, marketing

* Experience as leader driving strategy and team facilitation

* Experience with financial, cost, pricing and analytical skills

* Experience working with customers, senior management, and stakeholders

* Ability to work on-site in our corporate office in Lisle

What Will Put You Ahead

* MBA or advanced technical degree preferred

* Previous P&L leadership experience

For this role, we anticipate paying $175,000- $225,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
