Through its hundreds of stores, national field sales force and sub-distribution network, SalonCentric promotes the finest professional beauty brands and educates stylists on the latest products and trends.

JOB SUMMARY:
This role will build the Revenue Growth Management function to become a strategic consulting and analyticsgroup to help understand market and consumer dynamics and drive profitable growththrough pricing andpromotional strategy with a focus on making data-driven and business-informed recommendations. Commonwork includesconsulting with upper management on strategic business decisions,discrete choice modeling (Conjoint),promotional ROI analysis, financial modeling, and syndicated data analysis.

Thisrole will focus on building the RGM function within SalonCentric which focuses on consulting with internal stakeholders (in marketing, sales, finance, and operations) to build profitable growth across all partner brands and categories within SalonCentric. Topics typically includes pricing strategy across new and existing products, promotion strategy, product/channel mix, and other RGM topics. The Director will work closely with the AVP RGM - PPD as well as other RGM leadersandteamsin helping to drive forward the broader function in the organizationin the US and globally, as well as training and coaching direct reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: (Include the following, other duties may be assigned)

  • Ability to consult with and influencesenior managementon strategictopics
  • Owns and develops holistic strategies that keep in mind the needs the consumer, retailers and the SalonCentric
  • Able todeterminethe right solution and resources needed to address differentquestions
  • A strong storyteller who can explain advanced analytics toa laymanusing simple terms and is comfortable presenting toupper-levelmanagement
  • Aims to build relationships with other teams to further their knowledge and impact within thecompany
  • Analytically minded with a focus on solving complex business problemsthrough analysis and a strong understanding of our internal business strategy
  • Train and upskill current sales team members on effective sales strategies and best practices for acquiring new business within the high-end salon market.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies within the high-end salon market.

EXPERIENCE, COMPETENCIES & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Data Analytics/Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Economics or Marketing.
  • 5 -7 years of experienceworking in revenue management, strategic consulting, or strategic and commercial roles withing the consumer goods or beauty industry.
  • Retail work with Big Box experience preferred
  • Understanding ofconsumer-focused pricing strategiesand how they connect toproductfinancialstructures
  • Experience working across marketing, sales, finance, and operations teams to help drive strategicdecisions.
  • Familiar with both primary consumer research and syndicated data sources(such as Nielsen or IRI)
  • Able to independently plan and execute complexanalysis.
  • Experience presenting complexconceptsand recommendations to seniorleadership.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with a knack for building rapport and trust with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on emerging trends and market opportunities. You can analyze data, anticipate market shifts, and develop proactive strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Nice to have:
    • Industry experience
    • Knowledge/experience with discrete choice modeling(Conjoint Analysis)
    • Experience with optimizing consumer promotion strategy
  • Exceptional presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficient in Excel, and/or Tableau, PowerBI, PowerPoint and other design/presentation applications.
