Mgr Social Work Resource Management ARRMC
Position Summary
The Manager of Social Work Resource/Case Management is responsible for assisting the Director of Resource Management in the development, implementation, coordination, management and monitoring of Social Work, Spiritual Care, and Interpreter Services for Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center and Asante Ashland Community Hospital. Responsibility of supervising staff in collaboration with other managers for Resource/Case Management. Recommends, develops, and implementation of new programs enhancing services for patients/families.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for upholding excellence in the delivery of Social Work, Spiritual Care, and Interpreter Services within the Resource Management department. Accountable for the administrative, leadership and strategic functions of each team.
- Recognizes and rewards exceptional staff performance through formal and informal acknowledgments.
- Ensures the competence of staff and their understanding of policies, regulations, and standards of practice relevant to their service area, oversees the provision of policies and regulations pertaining to Social Work, Spiritual Care, and Interpreter Services., oversees the provision of care and monitors compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
Position Qualifications
Experience
- 3 years of progressive experience as a social worker with demonstrated leadership in social work within a health care environment is required.
- Emphasis on community health resources and program development strongly desired.
- 2 years of post-licensure practice experience necessary to provide clinical supervision is preferred.
Education
- Master of Social Work (MSW), is required.
Certification/Licensure
- LCSW: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Oregon State Board of Licensed Social Workers is required.
