Job Overview:
The Shipfitter Working Leaderman is responsible for directing his/her workforce in the successful fitting of all structural components of assigned vessels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Directing his/her workforce in the successful fitting of all structural components of assigned vessels.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work well with other supervisors.
• Must have a strong focus on quality, production, safety, and environmental aspects of work being performed.

Experience:

• Minimum of five (5) years of craft-specific experience performing fitting of structural functions.

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to interpret standard construction drawings.
• Basic knowledge of fitting specific processes and techniques.
• Familiar with standard marine practices and general specifications for construction.
