OverviewMicrosoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO+I) is the team behind the cloud. Within CO+I, the Global Project Controls (GPC) team is responsible for delivering core datacenter infrastructure for Microsoft's cloud business. The MS portfolio consists of complex, multi-disciplinary, large scale, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects. We are looking for a passionate, high-energy individual to help build the cloud datacenters that power the world's largest online services. We are seeking an experienced Planning Standards and Governance Lead to join the Integrated Planning team within CO+I Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC). The successful candidate will be responsible for group process & policy management and maintenance, group auditing processes while also keeping these processes in line with EPC Center of Excellence standards document control systems, maintaining and managing the document control system and process of the team, and finally on/off boarding processes and processing. The ideal candidate should have a high level of attention to detail, technical writing skills, and the ability to meet deadlines. The candidate should be highly collaborative, self-motivated, and have experience using and managing Microsoft SharePoint sites. This role is located either in one or all hub locations: Atlanta, GA, Phoenix, AZ, Redmond, WA, San Antonio, TX, or Washington, DC. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates must relocate or reside within 50 miles of the hub office location. This role is eligible for hybrid or remote work, up to 100%. Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and execute document control processes & policies for all documents Monitor and review document control systems, making necessary changes, improvements, and recommendations.Develop and maintain the Integrated Planning SharePoint site, securities, and access to said site.Develop and implement processes and policies to ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.Maintains and optimizes Integrated Planning business processes and polices; including establishing and tracking metrics to ensure best practices and adherence and facilitates process-level change management efforts.Executes end-to-end governance for simple processes/parts of a process. Documents flow, controls, underlying systems, and requirements needed.Manage group auditing processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Oversee the onboarding process for new employees, ensuring that all necessary documents are completed and filed correctly, including security access to tools and documents.Work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders.Meet deadlines and complete tasks in a timely manner.Plan, manage, and execute multiple, time-sensitive projects with competing priorities.
