Join our Team! Payroll Analyst 1 for POSSC Shared Service Center within Bourns College of Engineering:
We're seeking a dedicated Payroll Analyst 1 to join the Bourns College of Engineering and support our mission to foster a thriving academic environment. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a shared services center overseeing the onboarding process and providing payroll services while working with a team of highly skilled and self-motivating service professionals who strive to complete team goals and services within service level agreements for BCOE Department clients and our external clients. What Will You Do? As a Payroll Analyst 1, you will play a key role in supporting the POSSC Shared Service Center and will contribute as a collaborative team member to POSSC's payroll functions including, overseeing all aspects of the onboarding process, including assisting new hires with coordinating new hire paperwork, scheduling in person onboarding appointments and meeting with new hires to verify eligibility of work documents You will manage the I-9 tracker system including reverifications. You will coordinate with clients as well as other Shared Services Centers (SSC) to gather information for service requests, conduct research on payroll discrepancies and process personnel transactions and updates in the central payroll system (UC Path) accordingly. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $33.86 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs. Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
