Senior Associate, Production Services Application Support Analyst

Were seeking a future team member for the role of Production Services Application Support Analyst to join our Production Services team. This role is in New York, NY and will work via hybrid in office work arrangement.

In this role, youll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Client Inquiry/Payment Application support, primarily for newer Immediate Payments products and services.
  • Researching moderate to complex payment issues relative to Application and Infrastructure components. Work with various Application and infrastructure teams to resolve any issues.
  • Monitoring system health, responding and escalating to alerts, diagnosing issues, and resolving incidents. Work towards minimizing downtime and any service disruptions.
  • Contributes to the achievement of team objectives and work on special projects as assigned.
  • Metric gathering, reporting and tracking for SLAs and OLAs.
  • Incident post-mortems, documentation and creating both formal procedures and informal reference documents or job aides are often part of the duties to prevent recurring issues.

To be successful in this role, were seeking the following:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required. 4-6 years of experience in applications support or production environment required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Provides on-site and on-call support through analysis and works with various application and infrastructure teams to remediate.
  • Communicates both formally and informally with customers and end users.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint needed for metric report development and tracking.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required4-6 years of experience in applications support or production environment required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Ability to research issues independently and share that knowledge with not only the end client but also other team members, or members of other teams under the production services or development umbrella.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $56,000 and $85,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
