Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Lead Java Engineer with experience in Java, Spring boot Flink and Kafka, able to complete the assigned user stories in a given sprint, capable enough to design the modules individually.

Job Location: Forth Worth Texas USA. (Hybrid)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

* Able to play a Java Senior Lead Engineer role.

* Participant in all the project key stake holder meetings to understand the business requirements.

* As an individual contributor able to complete the assigned user stories in a given sprint.

* Capable enough to design the modules individually.

* To participate in all the Agile ceremonies and capable enough to perform all the sprint level activities.

* To own the end to end delivery of the assigned user stories/feature (development to deployment) and should be able to resolve the team's technical issues.

* With good communication skills in commuting between offshore and onsite customer stakeholders.

Key Qualifications:

* Minimum - 13+ years exp

* Proficiency in Java Development

* Primary skills - Java, Spring, Apache Kafka, Flink/Any data-streaming technology

* Secondary skills - SQL/KQL, GitHub, Dynatrace, Micro-Services, MongoDB

* Other Dev Ops Toolchain: GitHub, GitHubActions, AzureDevops
