We are searching for a talented RN Med/Surg *UP TO $12,000 NEW HIRE SIGN ON BONUS!* Hours: 36hrs Shift: Day/Evening shift, 7:00am - 7:00pm with weekend and holiday rotation Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA Welcome to Atwood 3! This is a 45-bed primary surgical nursing unit with subspecialties of general surgery, orthopedics, neurology, gynecology, urology and vascular surgeries along with interventional radiology procedures. We are also a bariatric surgical center of excellence. Our patient population is primarily elective surgical cases that we receive from the recovery room and ranges in age from pediatric through geriatric. We provide basic arrhythmia detection via wireless Telemetry for the surgical patient population. Our average length of stay is 3 days. *Sign On Details

Responsibilities Under direction of the Manager, Patient Services or designee of individual assigned unit, perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served. Qualifications
