STV is seeking an HR & Immigration Specialist to work part-time (30 hours/week) with our corporate HR team. This position is designated as hybrid (3 days/week in office) in our New York, NY office.

The HR & Immigration Specialist supports STV's immigration initiatives and assists HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and employees with immigration-related matters, including visas and permanent residency applications. This role serves as the primary liaison between STV and its external immigration counsel.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the administration of STV's immigration program
  • Prepare sponsorship petitions and applications for various visas (e.g., H-1B, TN), work permits, and Green Card recruitment processes
  • Develop and maintain a strong partnership with STV's external immigration counsel
  • Maintain accurate immigration records and conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance
  • Track expenditures and process immigration-related invoices and billing codes
  • Collaborate with HRBPs, Talent Acquisition (TA) partners, and managers on potential new hire sponsorships
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee and candidate sponsorship-related inquiries

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in immigration administration
  • Demonstrated skills and competencies:
    • Detail-oriented and responsive, ensuring effective communication
    • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on process improvement
    • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
    • Resourceful, thorough, and organized
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Experience with Workday HCM is preferred but not required

Compensation Range:

$82,265.06 - $109,686.74
