As the Bio-Rad Associate Director, Marketing, you will be responsible for managing and developing the Molecular Food Diagnostic portfolio. You will define the global strategic directions of his/her product portfolio to drive profitable growth through innovation, market expansion, pricing and programs based on market insights and Voice Of Customers.

In this role, you will lead and coordinate the actions of your team to achieve the turnover and profit performances of your range. Partner closely with cross-functional senior leaders (Sales, Marketing, R&D, manufacturing, quality, PMO) to gain organizational support and alignment of core competencies and priorities for portfolio growth. Ensure clear value proposition, brand strategy for portfolio offerings. Develop and monitor launch plans. Champion portfolio internally at all levels of organization, act as external portfolio champion with customers, senior industry experts and external bodies. Manage and monitor allocated budgets. Produce the promotional and sales support tools and provide marketing support to the entities: sales pitch, communication, training of product managers or product specialists of sales entities.Manage the product inventory in liaison with the production and commercial entities. Develop key relationship with opinion leaders and selected strategic customers. Ensure market and competition watch, searching for new opportunities.

What You Bring:



  • Education: Advanced degree in Food Microbiology and product marketing/market development.
  • Work Experience: 5-10 years of work industry experience in product management, product marketing.
  • Intercultural experience.
  • Oral and written communication.
  • Organizational excellence.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $174,600 to $240,000 at the time of posting. This range is inclusive of all geographic locations within the United States*. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of an offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
*Minimum reflects our lowest paying locations, and the top end reflects our highest paying locations. The range in your geographic location will vary but will be within the indicated ranges.
