Judo Coach, Club Sport

Job Summary

The Judo Coach, Club Sports will teach, coach, train and motivate student athletes on an individual and group basis. This position will work on-campus on an hourly basis. The Coach will help develop and support the Club Judo program and work with students of different levels of expertise.

Essential Functions

• Teach, coach, train and motivate student-athletes to perform at the highest level through organized team.
• Prepare and organize training sessions to enhance team performance.
• Foster an environment within the (Club Sport) program that supports the department mission of personal growth and integrity, diversity, leadership, sportsmanship, and a commitment to athletic and academic excellence.
• Represent the team with discussions, and affiliations with exterior Judo national, and regional organizations.
• Teach techniques, guide athletes, and develop a suitable program for each group and level of player.
• Ensure that the program complies with all University, Club Sport, Governing Body and Recreational Athletics rules and regulations
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience.

Additional Information

This is a Part-time Per Diem position classified as Non-exempt. The offered pay is based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
