Technology Architect- Apigee API/ Java

Job Summary

We are seeking a Sr. Technology Architect with 15 to 18 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Apigee API Management API lifecycle management Springboot Microservices and Java technologies. This role involves designing and implementing robust solutions ensuring seamless integration and optimizing performance. The work model is hybrid and the shift is day. No travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of scalable and high-performance solutions using Apigee API Management and Java technologies.
• Oversee the entire API lifecycle management process ensuring efficient and secure API development and deployment.
• Provide technical expertise in Springboot Microservices ensuring robust and maintainable microservices architecture.
• Develop and maintain Java Webservices REST Web API and Java Platform APIs to support various business requirements.
• Utilize Java Fullstack skills to deliver end-to-end solutions from front-end interfaces to back-end services.
• Apply Java Design Patterns to create reusable and efficient code structures.
• Implement and manage Java Collections to handle data effectively within applications.
• Ensure compatibility and performance optimization with Java 11 and Java 8.
• Leverage Core Java and Advanced JavaScript skills to enhance application functionality and user experience.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.
• Conduct code reviews and provide guidance to junior developers to maintain code quality and best practices.
• Monitor and optimize application performance ensuring high availability and reliability.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the architecture and solutions.
• Contribute to the companys purpose by delivering innovative solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive business growth.

Qualifications

• Possess extensive experience in Apigee API Management and API lifecycle management.
• Demonstrate strong expertise in Springboot Microservices and Java Webservices.
• Have a deep understanding of Java REST Web API and Java Platform APIs.
• Showcase proficiency in Java Fullstack development and Java Design Patterns.
• Exhibit knowledge of Java Collections and Java 11/8.
• Display strong skills in Core Java and Advanced JavaScript.

Certifications Required

Certified Apigee API Engineer Oracle Certified Professional Java SE 11 Developer

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000 to $175,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
