Location: Dallas, TX (Remote is fine)

Skills: Incident management , Change process, ITSM processes

Major Incident Management

  • Coordinate Response: Lead the response to major incidents, ensuring swift resolution and minimal impact on services.
  • Communication: Keep stakeholders informed with timely updates and status reports.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure the necessary resources are available to resolve the incident.
  • Post-Incident Review: Conduct reviews to identify root causes and implement preventive measures

Incident Management

  • Incident Identification: Oversee the identification and logging of incidents.
  • Prioritization: Classify and prioritize incidents based on their severity and impact.
  • Resolution Coordination: Work with technical teams to resolve incidents promptly.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of incidents and their resolutions

Change Management

  • Change Planning: Develop and implement change management plans.
  • Impact Assessment: Evaluate the potential impact of changes on the organization.
  • Approval Process: Manage the approval process for changes, including chairing Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to ensure smooth adoption of changes

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $105,000 - $115,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and is subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
