OverviewJoin the Microsoft AI Live Site Engineering team and help us deliver innovative world-class production metrics, tools, and processes at Internet scale. We build and evolve metrics, tools and process to ensure resiliency for Consumer Copilot, Bing, Ads, Windows News Feeds, Edge New Tab Page, etc. We are looking for technical program managers who are passionate to work on service reliability, observability, incident management and retrospective, using Azure and cutting-edge technologies like SLMs/LLMs, .Net core, React JS, Databases etc. You will have the opportunity to solve interesting challenges in service management at scale, build automated bots using SLMs/LLMs (Small/Large Language Models), drive SLO attainment for production metrics and continuous service hardening improvement. Bing, Copilot, Edge and Windows news feeds serve billions of transactions via services hosted on hundreds of thousands of servers across the world. You will learn about these large-scale distributed systems and contribute to making them better. The organization values product quality, and we enjoy strong executive support for our work. As a Technical Program Manager II in the team, you need to build tools, processes and metrics to help partners across Microsoft AI solve critical service management/Live Site problems. You will work with Software Engineering to design technical solutions. You'll also identify risks and propose data-based mitigations. You'll define success criteria as you collaborate with others to implement features for cross-functional projects. You'll coordinate and ensure alignment across teams. With minimal supervision, you will help deliver on roadmaps for feature groups, track project schedules, develop staging and implementation, and stay updated with governance programs. You will drive continuous improvements by validating use cases and partnering with others to collect metrics. You'll also contribute to incident management and post mortems/retrospectives, centering on advocating for our end users and partners. Please note this role does not provide international relocations and requires 50%+ time presence in the Redmond office.
