Job Overview

The University of Cincinnati's Department of Orthopaedic Surgery seeks a dedicated and highly skilled Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon to join our dynamic and collaborative team as an Assistant Professor. This position offers the opportunity to advance the field through clinical excellence, innovative research, and teaching the next generation of Orthopaedic surgeons. The successful candidate will contribute to the Department's mission of delivering exceptional patient care, education, and research in a collegial academic environment.

Essential Functions

  • Provide comprehensive Orthopaedic spine care, including diagnosis, treatment, and surgical interventions for a wide range of spine conditions.
  • Develop and maintain a robust clinical practice while actively participating in the multidisciplinary care of spine patients.
  • Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows through lectures, hands-on training, and clinical supervision.
  • Conduct and publish high-quality clinical, translational, or basic science research in the field of Orthopaedic spine surgery.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to enhance the quality and breadth of spine care provided by the Department.

Minimum Requirements

  • Medical Degree (MD or DO) or foreign equivalent.
  • Completion of Orthopaedic Surgery Residency program.
  • Completion of a fellowship in Spine Surgery.
  • Medical licensure in the State of Ohio.
