Hold privileges for all Florida locations. You have the option to sign up for shifts at any Florida locations. View all clinics here: www.concentra.com/locations
- Sign up for shifts 1-2 months in advance
- Shift times include:
- Weekdays: 7a-4p, 8am-5pm, 9a-6pm
- Saturdays: 10a-3p and 10a-2p
- Sundays (Fort Lauderdale location ONLY): 10a-2p
- Utilize Allscripts EMR system
- Occupational Health/Employee Health focused
- Pre-Employment & Maintenance physicals
- Surveillance testing
- Treatment of minor injuries & exposures sustained in the workplace
- Urgent Care offered to the public (5-10% of total visits)
- Sick visits
- Minor injuries
- Sports Physicals
- Immigration Exams
- OnSite Digital xray
- OnSite Physical Therapy Department
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Performs medical assessment of Center patients
- Establishes and monitors a medically appropriate level of care for center patients
- Maintains clinical core competency
- Assures compliance with licensing, certification and accrediting bodies
- Meets with employers to discuss health and safety needs and conducts workplace walk-through and other on-site assessments.
- Regularly calls client representatives upon seeing employee patients for initial injuries and change of duty status
- In the absence of the Center Medical Director, provides guidance to other medical staff (e.g. physician assistants, nurse practitioners and back/front office staff) to ensure Concentra's mission is achieved.
- Provides an excellent, compassionate and warm patient experience regardless of patient volume
- Ability to manage time, prioritize and multi-task in a busy environment

Qualifications
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Florida Medical License
- Note, we are not able to accept A.C.N. licensure as we are not an A.C.N. facility
- Unrestricted DEA license for state of jurisdiction
- Medical degree (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from accredited institution
- FMCSA NRCME required prior to start date (we provide this CME to all colleagues if not already certified)

PRN colleagues are permanent W2 employed team members. We do not offer 1099/contractor/locums opportunities. PRN colleagues have the option to transition to Full Time when such opportunities are available. PRN benefits include:
