Project Specialist at Atlanta Distribution Center

Spanning approximately 320,000 square feet and housing around 250 dedicated team members, our Atlanta DC stands at the forefront of operational excellence and improvement. As we grow, we're looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Specialist to help us drive success in every project we undertake.

The Role

As a Project Specialist, you'll be instrumental in enhancing our processes and operations. Working across all departments, you'll have the opportunity to engage in a broad spectrum of projects-ranging from process mapping and content creation to supporting various distribution center (DC) activities and events. Utilizing the Microsoft Office suite, you'll develop impactful instructional content, including videos, PowerPoint presentations, sandbox tests, and more, aimed at advancing our training, process efficiencies, and 5S initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with departments throughout the DC to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Create engaging content and instructional materials to support DC operations and training.
  • Participate in and contribute to various projects, employing Lean Six Sigma principles under mentorship.
  • Prioritize and manage a diverse project workload effectively, demonstrating agility and resilience.
  • Engage in continuous learning opportunities, including the path to earning your Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.

We're Looking for Someone Who

Required:

  • Holds a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Showcases integrity, transparency, and a positive, enthusiastic mindset.
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Has a keen ability to problem-solve independently and learn swiftly from mistakes.

Preferred:

  • Brings 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Possesses some college or an associate degree.
  • Offers proficiency in Spanish and experience with video editing.
  • Has exposure to Lean Six Sigma tools, process analysis, and 5S organizational methods.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
