THE UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI - KANSAS CITY The University of Missouri - Kansas City (UMKC) is looking for a creative, collaborative marketing strategist to work with a strategic marketing team to elevate the image and brand of UMKC and its signature programs. This position is responsible for organizing, leading and building UMKC's marketing strategies. Knowledge of CRM and digital strategies is required. This individual will work closely with strategic marketing efforts connected to various campus clients, academic units, and divisions. The ideal candidate would have experience in brand and marketing strategy development; working knowledge of online and digital marketing, solid understanding of marketing principles; demonstrated competency in project management and supervising employees; understanding of strategic communications; and strong knowledge of social media, print and web. Superb skills in relationship management and project management are a must, along with demonstrated leadership, organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Anticipated Hiring Range
$51,875 to $70,000 per year commensurate on education, experience, and internal equity. Application Materials
