DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This work will involve significant responsibilities related to the collection, interpretation, and sharing of sensitive data on drug-related deaths. You will work closely with the Public Health Program Administrator, and other agencies to track communications data, review and interpret drug-related data from various sources, and abstract information from corner and law enforcement reports. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with data sharing policies by reviewing requests from local teams and compiling results for administrative staff. Your efforts will ultimately contribute to the prevention and management of opioid-involved deaths in cooperating counties within Pennsylvania. You will also have the opportunity to utilize your coding skills to collect and enter data into website-based programs. Furthermore, you will play a key role in assisting with the development of plans, reports, and presentations, as well as managing purchase orders, health care staffing vendors, and training. Your contributions will be crucial in ensuring the success and efficiency of these important processes. Interested in learning more? - Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 4 days a week. You will be required to report to the office 1 day on Wednesdays. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Public Health Program Associate 1 (commonwealth title); or
- A bachelor's degree and one year of professional experience in the development, analysis, or monitoring of programs, grants, or contracts in health, human services, social or behavioral services, health care services, or health insurance; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
