For more information on what we are about as a company, check us out by following the link below: http://www.levyrestaurants.com/who-we-are/ Sanitarian Job Summary Job Description The Sanitarian will be responsible for maintaining and enforcing high standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety throughout the building. They will conduct daily sanitization and cleanliness inspections, and facility audits to record and address any issues or violations. This includes cleanliness and sanitizing, employee practices, food handling, temperature control, proper use and handling of cleaning and sanitizing chemicals, and all recording and monitoring forms and other paperwork submission. They will train hourly staff to ensure policy and procedures are being implemented. Maintain efficiency in sanitation during peak hours. Additionally, ensures all processes of sanitation and safety to food handling equipment. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years hands-on as either a chef, cook or prep cook in a high-volume foodservice operation. Catering experience, not required but preferred. Strong working knowledge of all sanitation and food handling regulations and laws Current Servsafe food handler or manager certificate Experience and work history applicable to the job.
