      The newly established Systems Immunology laboratory at the University of Arizona, led by Dr. Prabhu Arunachalam, is seeking a motivated Postdoctoral Research Associate. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work with a new investigator who is not only dedicated to pursuing impactful research but also to mentoring trainees. The laboratory investigates the impact of aging with chronic infectious diseases using state-of-the-art multiomic approaches.       | Duties & Responsibilities |  
      
       
        - Lead independent research investigating the immunology of chronic HIV infection and aging.
 - Develop and implement experimental and analyses protocols.
 - Disseminate findings through high-impact publications and presentations at international conferences.
 - Collaborate with a network of esteemed scientists and clinicians.
 
        Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
       
        - Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a part of the team.
 - Excellent communication skills.

      | Minimum Qualifications |  
      
       
        - Ph.D. in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, or a related field.
 - Experience in immunological techniques, high-dimensional cytometry, transcriptomics and/or animal research.

      | Preferred Qualifications |  
      
       
         
        -  Strong publication record indicating high-quality research. 
 -  Experience with single-cell technologies, large data analysis using computational approaches will be an asset.
