Location
Project will be located in the Indo-Pacific Region; including but not limited to Hawaii, Philippines, Australia, and Guam. International travel and/or temporary relocation will be required for the duration of the project.
Position
SLS is seeking an experienced Site Health & Safety Officer (SSHO) interested in international travel to join a fast-growing and dynamic Federal Division that is aggressively pursuing civil infrastructure opportunities across the Indo-Pacific Region with federal clients, such as the Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC), U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and Air Force Civil Engineer Center (AFCEC). The SSHO will be responsible for implementing and managing project safety plans and procedures to ensure safety is incorporated into the design documents, and the construction activities are performed with a proactive approach focused on the health & safety of the public and the project staff while meeting or exceeding all contract requirements. The SSHO will have day-to-day operational responsibility to the Project Manager and/or Project Superintendent, and functional responsibility to the Director of HSE. Responsibilities
